During potato harvest we were able to go to the cabin for four days. We had so much fun. It was snowing, so we did not go through Yellowstone National Park. We are going to go in the spring when the animals are having there babies. We did to get to see a moose and her baby right in the yard of the cabin. The kids played and played even though it was cold outside. They love going to the cabin. We tried to take family pictures while we were there. We wanted to take them outside, but it got so cold that we had to go back inside. Brandon lost his spoon under the stool, so he climbed through it. We did not pose him in the picture. He did it all by himself. He loves to climb and he has started to crawl for real instead of inchworming it. He pulls himself to standing and walks along furniture. He also lets go and only holds on with one hand. He loves to smile and be happy.

Bradley had his primary program last Sunday. He held real still the entire time. Which is good for my active boy. He loves to speak at church, so he had no problems saying his part. He had it memorized the day they sent it home with him. His part was "I can do family history work for my ancestors so that they can receive Temple blessings." Bradley is so much fun. He has more energy that anyone could imagine.

Jamie loves to play house. She is always pretending to cook me something. She loves to dress up all pretty and to have her hair and makeup done. She is all sugar and spice. Spice because she is such a tease. She loves to tease her brothers. Her thing right now is to call her big brother a pumpker head. She likes to say pumpker instead of pumpkin. Her laugh is so contagious.

Happy Harvest Everyone!

Well I can not believe it is October. I feel like every time I blink I loose a huge section of my life.

Bradley came home from school yesterday so excited. He got a gift certificate for a free bag of bread sticks at little ceasers for reading. He wants to go and redeem it after school today. Bradley loves kindergarten. It is so good for him. It is helping him to learn to control his wiggles a little more. We just got into the hang of our routine and potato harvest starts monday. That means I get my boy home for a week and a half with no school. Naithan has four days off in a row next week, so we are going to go to my Grandfather's cabin in Island Park. We are all so excited. We love to spend time as a family up at the cabin.

Yesterday we spent the day bottling applesauce and dehydrating apples. It was so much fun. The kids were a lot of help.

Brandon is 16lbs. He is also crawling now. I can not believe how big he is. Six months sure goes by quickly.

Well, I am not sure where my September went. It has been a while since I last made a post. Sorry about that, but life is super busy. Bradley loves school. He always comes home so excited. Days getting shorter is making it harder to wake him up though. He loves to learn as long as Mom is not teaching him. I do his PE once a week. He enjoys that because he gets to be active. It was almost painful at first for him to hold still. He is just your typical busy boy. Jamie is a joy. I thought she would be jealous of her brother. She is not though. Brandon takes a nap and she and I get plenty of 1 on 1 time. She is getting so big. She loves to talk the ears off of anyone who will listen to her. Brandon is trying so hard to crawl. He does push up a lot. The other night he got himself up to sitting position all by himself. Nothing is safe on the floor. He scooches every where and is getting pretty quick. He is such a sweet baby. He rarely cries. I love being a mommy! I love to spend every moment with my family. I am very blessed. Naithan works so hard to provide for us. He tries so hard so I do not have to work outside of the home. He is so amazing, and I am very lucky to have him.

I just thought I would say I love being a Mommy!

Bradley's First Day Of School!

I had the great experience of sending my oldest child, Bradley to school this year. He has been asking to go for two years now. He was so excited for school to start. His first day was the 20th of August. His little sister gets up with him every morning to wave good bye, and she watches for him to come home when it is time. He loves school, which I am very glad for. It makes it easier to get him up at 6:30 in the morning. His bus comes at 7:30 so we must wake him early so he has time to eat. It takes him 30 minutes to eat his breakfast. As many people have asked, No I did not cry. I was so excited for him. Here are a few of the pictures I took the morning and afternoon of his first day.

Last Little Strech Before School

After we returned from our trip we tried to get as much done as we could before Bradley started school. We went to my Grandpa Walker's cabin. It was so peaceful. The cabin sits right off of Henry's Lake in Island Park. The kids always have so much fun when we go. We are so blessed to live in this beautiful country.
We also had a birthday party for Jamie. My little girl is three now. I can not believe how fast my little family is growing! Jamie wanted to go swimming for her birthday So we had a party at a Green Canyon Hot Springs which our family absolutely loves to go to. We did it a little late since her birthday was actually while we were traveling home.

We met Naithan's sister Dianna in Idaho Falls at the zoo. The kids had so much fun going through the zoo with her and her husband Allen. Bradley was so excited that the alligator was back.
The day before school we took all three kids to get their shots. Bradley and Brandon had to get four each. Jamie was so proud of herself, because she only needed one. Brandon did not cry he just put out his bottom lip and let out a whimper. I think it made the nurse feel worse than if he would have just cried.

Summer Fun!

Well we had a busy and hectic, but very fun summer! It started out with Naithan leaving for two weeks for his annual training in June. Then the day after he got back we took off for Illinois. We got to stop in Colorado, and spend a little time with my uncle and his family. The kids wanted to stay longer, but we had no time to. It was on the road again.

Traveling went well and we arrived at Naithan's parent's house. We went to Naithan's little sister's baseball game right after we got there. Jamie fell of the back of the bleachers onto her head. Than after we got back to McKinney's Bradley was swinging a baseball bat and nailed Jamie right in the mouth. He chipped her front tooth. At that point I was wondering why we had left home. Naithan had his ten year class reunion that weekend. It was good. He got to talk with some of his old classmates.

Than on the 30th of June Naithan, Brandon four of Naithan's sisters and I went to a St Louis Cardinals game. It was my first time ever going to a professional baseball game, and it was a blast.

Than the next day we left Illinois for Michigan. In Michigan we visited my sister and her family. My kids had an extremely good time playing with their cousins. We went to the Henry Ford Museum before Naithan flew home to work. He enjoyed spending time with the kids looking at cars and trains. We had fun going to many different parties while visiting my sister.

We spent the Forth of July watching a huge firework display at lake Erie. I also went with my sisters family to Northern Michigan, where the kids and I played on a beach lake Huron. The day I was getting ready to leave I got Sciatica. I could not move, I could barley get up to go to the bathroom. I could not see how I was going to load and drive back to Illinois with just me and the kids, so Naithan took off on family emergency leave and flew into Michigan to help me drive. The kids were sad to leave their cousins in Michigan.
After we were back in Illinois we got ready for Nathan's little sister Sarah's wedding in Nauvoo, IL. The first night in Nauvoo was a lot of fun. We took the kids to see the pageant. They have a bunch of activities for the kids to do before. The kids had a potato sack race. They played tug of war. They also got to use a two man saw to saw a log. The next day Naithan and I went to a endowment session. That was so neat. I had never seen the inside of the nauvoo temple. It is so beautiful. The kids played in the pioneer village while we were at the Temple. After that we took the kids to some of the different places. We took them to the Gun Smith Shop and the Black Smith Shop. At the black Smith Shop Jamie's birthday was the closest, so she got the horeshoe. Sarah's wedding and reception were the next day, and we left right after the reception to go back to Southern Illinois. Naithan's little sister Leslie was baptised after church(the day after Sarah's wedding).
Off we went, home again. On the way home we stopped in Colorado again to let the kids play. We had a blast but it was so nice to be home.
